Dr. Jaimini Raniga

MBBS (Lon);  LMSSA (Lon);  Dip Hom (Syd);  Dip BT (Syd);  Dip Unani Tibb Medicine.

Dr Jaimini Raniga qualified as a medical doctor from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London University in 1982 and has been a medical practitioner of Family and Integrative Medicine for the last 30 years.

Jaimini applies a multidisciplinary approach to health and wellness, integrating the best of conventional and complimentary health care modalities. Her special interests are lifestyle and functional medicine and preventive medicine. Jaimini’s conviction that a more personalised approach to treating and resolving medical problems and illness, has culminated in a unique, integrated health and wellness programme, that draws on the many techniques she has learned over the last 22 years, viz. Nutritional and Environmental medicine, Natural Bio-identical hormones, Ayurveda, Unani-Tibb Medicine, Homeopathy, Cold Laser Therapy and the Bowen Therapeutic Technique.

Jaimini’s extensive experience includes:

  • The Hale Clinic, previously one of Europe’s largest Integrated Health centres;
  • The Integrated Health Centre in London;
  • General Practice for 14 years in Sydney and Melbourne;
  • Sivanna Health and Wellness Institute in South Africa which she and her husband Girish established in 2005;
  • Founder member of the Bowen Therapy Association of South Africa and an international instructor of the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia.
  • She is the author of numerous articles for health magazines and columns, and has appeared as a specialist on a number of radio and TV health shows.

Jaimini’s passion lies in the prevention of illness by restoring function and balance mentally, emotionally and physically. Her special interests are Female Menopause, Andropause, Perimenopause, PCOS, PMT, Endometriosis and menstrual problems, gut health and detoxification, and weight management.

She also specialises in all chronic illnesses such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Diabetes, Heat disease, Osteoporosis, Thyroid Disease, Adrenal Fatigue, Auto Immune disorders, Skin Problems, Mental Health and Stress Management.

Mr. Girish Raniga

Girish completed his B.Com (Hons) degree at the University of Durban Westville in 1979, having served his articles with Goldby, Compton & Mackelvie (Associate of Touche Ross). He then immigrated to Australia where he qualified as a chartered accountant, and spent the next 30 years in this industry. Specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions, Girish gained vast international experience in corporate finance, having worked in South Africa, Australia, the United Kingdom and Central Africa.

Having witnessed firsthand the pressures and stress that the corporate environment imposes on people, he began to explore techniques and methods to handle this problem. Girish decided to expand his studies in the field of stress management and corporate wellness, and is now a fully qualified professional life coach. Coaching is not new to Girish. He was a South African provincial (Natal) tennis champion in his youth, and in his twenties he captained the Natal inter-provincial team for many years and coached hundreds of scholars.

Drawing on this experience and his corporate background, Girish established an Integrative Coaching Programme, which offers:

  • Stress Management workshops for both individuals and corporates.

 

The programme incorporates positive change motivation and uses such tools as Breathwork, Mindfulness meditation and relaxation techniques.

A passionate advocate of this Integrative Coaching Programme, Girish has done several public presentations and runs workshops on life transforming topics, and is a sought after guest speaker who inspires others on their journey to wellness and elevated consciousness.

Mr. Tilak Kalra

PhD (Chem.Eng) Dip. Acupuncture, Fellow AACMA, Dip. Clinical Hypnotherapy, Certified Practitioner Specific Frequency Micro current. Registered with AHPRA as Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Tilak completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Monash University in 1971. He worked for Commonwealth Government for four years in the department of Environment and Conservation. He worked in the State Pollution Control Commission for four years and a further 17 years in Environment and Planning.

Tilak qualified as an Acupuncturist in 1986 from the colleges of Acupuncture, Sydney. Therafter he spent one month in China to gain hands on practical experience .

In 1990 Tilak joined All Care Medical Centre in Hammondville as an acupuncturist.

In 1997 he furthered his skills by gaining a certificate in clinical hypnotherapy, attended massage courses at the Sydney’s Nature Care College and completed a certificate course in Specific Frequency Micro current.

Tilak specializes in pain management, having a high success rate in all the conditions mentioned on the Acupuncture Service page.

Tilak also spent some time in China learning to treat Stroke patients with Acupuncture , and found he achieved good results in stroke patients who had facial paralysis.

Tilak has come to realise that a significant number of injuries occur due to incorrect posture, especially during lifting, and sitting in front of a computer. During his treatments sessions he provides advise on correcting posture and rehabilitation exercises.
