Samadhi means complete tranquility. Samaha means equanimity, tranquility, serenity. If you get that serenity, it is immaterial where you are. You may be in a cave or right in the center of Times Square—you can enjoy that samadhi.
No need to run away here and there. That is true samadhi. Nothing should shake you. If a thousand dollars comes to you, fine, okay, let it come. If two thousand goes away, then say, ‘It’s going, fine, let it go.’ Anything that comes will surely go.
That should be your attitude. If money comes you jump for joy. When money goes, your mind also goes with that and you land in an asylum. That is not samadhi. Complete tranquility is samadhi. Nothing can shake you. We can live that way.
